Each coffee pot is cast by hand in hard-paste porcelain at the Imperial Porcelain Factory, then decorated in the Cobalt Net pattern with hand painting worked partly beneath the glaze and partly on top of it. The Tulip shape carries the pattern, and this pot has been made since 1951.
It holds 1200 ml and comes with its lid. Overall it measures 19.4 cm in length, 12 cm in width and 18.9 cm in height.
Pattern by Anna Yatskevich (1904–1952), who painted porcelain at the Lomonosov Porcelain Factory from 1932 to 1952 and received the Order of the Red Star in 1944; her work is in the collections of the Hermitage and the Russian Museum. Shape by Serafima Yakovleva (1910–1993), who worked at the factory from 1935 to 1987; the Tulip shape she developed in 1936 remained one of its most popular for decades.
The coffee pot is not dishwasher safe.
