The Koobaltvõrk pattern is a benchmark example of design, awarded the gold medal at the Brussels World’s Fair 1958 for the harmony between its decoration and form. Its technical and collectible value is defined by the use of underglaze mineral cobalt, 22-karat gold, and traditional hand painting. Pieces from this series are held in major museums around the world, and their authenticity is confirmed by the distinctive gold brushstroke on the base and the lighter weight of bone china compared to imitations.
