Made of bone china at the Imperial Porcelain Factory in St. Petersburg, this teacup and saucer pairs the Idyll shape with the Lime No. 1 pattern. The decoration is an overglaze decal finished with a gold trim, and the cup has a smooth glazed rim.
The cup holds 250 ml, measured to the brim, so the usable volume may be 10–15% less. It is 6 cm high, and the saucer measures 15.4 cm across. The piece first went on sale in 2023. Bone china has a milky tone that may look brighter or paler on screen.
Pattern by Yulia Chistyakova (born 1981), a porcelain painter at the factory since 2007 and a graduate of the ceramics and glass department of the Stieglitz Academy.
To protect the gold, wash by hand with a liquid detergent and a soft sponge; in a dishwasher the gilding may dull or wear over time. Not for use in the microwave.
