LOMONOSOV IMPERIAL BONE CHINA PORCELAIN TEA POT KALENDA
180.00 € (145.16 € + VAT)
“Kalenda” is an exquisite blend of tradition and modern trends. In creating the composition, the artist was inspired by the traditional holiday decor—the Advent wreath—and also drew on the artistic legacy of the Imperial Porcelain Factory, specifically the compositions of one of the leading 19th-century porcelain painters, Fyodor Krasovsky. This teapot from this collection can be used alone or combined with other series. The wreath’s luxurious needles echo the “Azur” collection, while the scarlet ribbons echo the “Scarlett” collection. The design was applied using a special technique using raised paint. The collection takes its original name from the word “calendae,” the first day of the month in Latin. In Old Church Slavonic, this word originated as “kolyada,” and was most often used as a folk name for Christmas Eve.
