This teacup and saucer is made of bone china at the Imperial Porcelain Factory in St. Petersburg. The Idyll shape is decorated with the Alice’s Garden pattern, applied as an overglaze decal and edged with gold. The cup has a smooth glazed rim, and the bone china has a milky tone. The design was first offered in 2022.
The cup holds 250 ml and is 6 cm high; the saucer is 15.4 cm in diameter. Capacity is measured to the brim, so the usable volume may be 10–15% less.
Pattern by Yulia Chistyakova (born 1981), a porcelain painter at the factory since 2007.
Because of the gold, hand washing with a mild liquid detergent and a soft sponge is recommended; in a dishwasher the gilding may dull or wear over time. Not for microwave use.
