This flower vase is made of hard-paste porcelain at the Imperial Porcelain Factory and decorated by hand, with painting both under and over the glaze. The Cobalt Net pattern sits on the Tulip shape.
The vase holds 360 ml, stands 11.8 cm high and measures 10 cm in diameter.
The pattern is by Anna Yatskevich (1904–1952), who painted porcelain at the Lomonosov Porcelain Factory from 1932 to 1952 and received the Order of the Red Star in 1944. The shape is by Serafima Yakovleva (1910–1993), a sculptor and Honored Artist of the RSFSR, who designed the Tulip shape in 1936; over more than fifty years at the factory she created about 40 service shapes.
